Online Resources of the Month
World Book Online is provided to all MSD Warren Township students - both at school and at home. Please contact Elaine Loftus for login information.
As students begin to gear up for research projects, learn more about a country or location mentioned in a story they are reading, or want to compare and contrast animals, World Book Online is a great place to start. Besides articles, there are pictures, videos, audio clips, and tools to support all students. Text can be read aloud and translated. Students can use the citation tool to give credit to the source of information when using it in a presentation.
Kids Click - Kid Friendly Web Search Site
Students can search and find articles that show the reading level. I like the Dewey Decimal Search at the bottom. Students can also use the Quick Search for pictures, sounds, and video.
