Football
Way Back When
To me, football has always just been my thing. From the time I was born I was going to games, watching football on tv with my dad, choosing favorite teams and players, and just being in love with the perfect game. In the second grade, when I was 7 years old, my dad signed me up for tackle football. I was timid and scared at first, but after the first wave of hitting I was falling even more deeply in love with this exciting, crazy, passionate sport.I have become quite talented at football; I can hit, tackle, run, pass, catch, kick, and pretty much do it all. I was born for football, and I would not want it any other way.
These players are excited to play the perfect game of football.
My team, the Chisholm Trail Cougars, plays excellent defense.
Hittin' and Truckin'
I am a hittter. I just straight up like to knock people out of their wits with a crushing blow. Two years ago I was playing defensive end on my youth team. I was having a descent game to start out with, and it was getting pretty close to the ending- my least favorite part. We were up by a touchdown or two, so we were not too worried about losing. Me being the crazy competitive guy I am, I was going one-hundred percent. One play, I zoomed past my blocker, and smashed the quarterback with all of my strength. The ball came out of his grip, and hit the ground right in front of me. I leapt towards it, scooped it up, and looked straight towards the nedzone. I sprinted as fast as I could, and I would not let anyone stop me. One of the offensive lineman was stupid enough to try and tackle me, and I straight up ran him over. After that I zoomed into the endzone, with a smile from ear to ear.
Me and Statistics
Like I said, not only do I play the game. I study it. I keep track of all my favorite teams' stats, all my favorite players' stats, and I pride myself in knowing all about football. Just a few days ago, my Fantasy Football team was playing againsty a tough team. I had my lineup all squared out, confident that my team would play amazingly. Right before the deadline for changing the lineup, I realized that my running-back was playing against one of the top defenses in the NFL. My back-up was being projected to have an awesome game running the ball against a weak defense. He was my new starter. And like I had predicted, he ran all over the Bengals defense. Thanks to his great game, I won my matchup. The stats of all the players are forever engraved in my head. With the help of SportsCenter, football is my expertise.
Nowadays
I practice football every single day, and I have become very skilled at most positions. Any time there is a game on television, I am tuned in with my eyes glued to the screen. Football is one of the most important things in my life, and I would do anything to keep playing the game that made me who I am. It has made me stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. If football were a person, I would thank it every minute.
