Fox Family Focus
Week of August 14, 2022
Greetings Fox Families!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Our school year is off to a great start. The students are settling right in and getting used to eating in the cafeteria and learning the Fox Way which is our list of school expectations.
For your student’s safety please help your student remember to wear sneakers on PE days.
This is the time of year when teachers will be administering assessments in all grades and growth tests in grades 3-5. These assessments and tests will help teachers guide, plan and implement instruction to best meet the needs of our students.
Thank you for embracing our new procedure for dropping off and picking up your students. We ask that you remember that the path does lead into our play areas. Therefore you must wait until the area is clear before you proceed on the path.
The Foxy Focus for August is Respect. The students hear the following statement on the morning announcements. Respect means thinking and acting in a positive way towards self and others. This includes showing that you care and treating others the way you would want yourself and your things to be treated.
Our PTA does a lot for our school community and with your assistance, they can do even more. Please send in $5.00 to join. We are off to a good start with membership. Thank you to those families that have already joined.
With Fox Pride,
We had an EPIC first week of school!
