4th Gr. Digital Dose of Awesomeness
October 7, 2022
4th Grade Learning is an Adventure!
Thanks to all of you that were able to go to the Ride Texans game! We had a great time!!! Don't forget we have no school October 7-10! Enjoy the Columbus Day holiday! Walk to school day is Tuesday October 11th which is always a fun event. Feel free to send in any pictures of your students walking to school that morning. We hope to see all of you at Spring Creek BBQ the night of the 11th and for our Story Book Parade on the 14th.
Ride's Reading Adventure
4th Grade is working hard to be the #1 grade level for donations this year!
Our motto is, " Find 10, Get 10". That means find 10 people you know and get each of them to donate $10 or more to support Sally K. Ride. We do not profit share with anyone! This means all money goes toward technology, playground equipment, books, and classroom resources that will be used here at Ride!
We encourage all of you to participate and we appreciate your support!!!
4th Grade Needs
Cases of water: In order to maximize instruction time, it helps tremendously if 4th graders can refill water bottles in their portable. If you would like to send in a case of water, at any time during the year, we will definitely use them!

There are two options for lunch signups to eat with your child. You can sign up to eat in the cafeteria with your child or outside in our gazebo/picnic table area. You will not be able to change locations after signup is complete. If you sign up to eat outside and it rains, you will be unable to move into the building due to limited seating. You may sign up for another day/time.
Each slot is available for two adults and the child you are eating lunch with..
Please see the schedule below for designated grade level lunch visitor’s days. Make sure that you sign up under the correct time slot for your child’s lunchtime. Each student may have a lunch visitor once every 3.5-week period. This ensures every parent has an opportunity to sign up. Remember to bring a valid id when you visit the building.
