Panorama Survey Is Open >> Complete It NOW <<
Parents and guardians, take 10-15 minutes to complete the Family-School Relationships Survey. Families with children at more than one school should complete one survey for their oldest child in each school.
To access the survey, visit surveys.panoramaed.com/ccsoh/family , select your child’s school from the dropdown menu and click “Take this survey.” All responses are completely anonymous and will help us to plan programs, resources, and services for the remainder of this school year.

OSU Tutoring for Spring 2022
OSU Tutoring for Gables students through Branches will restart
February 1 at 5pm. Attend 5-6pm or 6-7pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on Zoom through April. See attached schedule for exact dates. Advance registration is not required; Zoom link is posted in Bloomz.

Note about Remote Learning
In the event Gables needs to transition to remote learning, sometimes a last-minute decision will be made. These will be handled similarly to a snow day: Families will receive an email, robocall and it will be broadcast on the news/CCS website. Thank you for your flexibility during this time as we all work to weather this new wave of COVID-19. If you have technical difficulties logging in remotely, please contact your child's teacher.
Keep your contact information current in the Parent Portal (especially email and phone numbers). The district uses the information you have on file to notify you.
CCS Transportation Contact Info
Save the Transportation number (614-365-5074) in your contacts in case buses are running late. The best source for information - morning and afternoon - is the Transportation department.
iReady Reminder
Each child should be doing at least 30 minutes Reading and 30 minutes Math each week (older grades have a 45 minute minimum). You can access iReady through Clever.com.
Each week, the student with the most minutes in each class is entered into a drawing for a free book token to our book vending machine!
January's Word of the Month: Citizenship
Good citizens help keep their school and community clean and are nice to their neighbors.
Help connect social emotional learning (SEL) at home with school by encouraging your Gator to display Citizenship and maybe win Student of the Month in their class!

Free admission to COSI every weekend in January for CCS families. Reservations are currently booked, but you may be able to attend if you take the green ticket your child received directly to COSI. Free admission is not guaranteed but possible.
