What's new?
Religion Grades K-6
We will be using a new Religion text called Christ in Us. We are excited about this program because of the numerous resources it offers our students to learn to become Disciples of Christ and that we can grow in our faith anytime and anywhere! Our grades Preschool, prekindergarten, 7th and 8th will continue the programs that they have used in previous years.
Socio Emotional Grades K-8
Growing with GOD: Safe and Sacred is a comprehensive child safety and Catholic family living program that seeks to empower children to respond to troubling and potentially dangerous situations using the strategies and techniques they are taught as part of the program and to see themselves as children of God, inherently deserving of respect and care.
Social Studies Grades K-4
Studies weekly is hands on an interactive program where students can highlight, take notes and complete learning strategies right on the publication. They also can cut up and incorporate their publications into multiple assignments and activities. Every student will has access to a robust online platform, where they delve deeper into history through 100K+ primary source images and videos. Students will also love the audio reader, highlighting tools and rewards system.
Vocabulary Workshop Grades 6-8
If you have had an older child attend DP, you will already know that Vocabulary Workshop is not new. What is new is the interactive book they will be using. They will compete their lessons on their device and submit to the teacher.
Seesaw Grades Grades PK-4
Seesaw is not a curriculum, rather an online resource to allow you to see what is going on with your child. Watch the video below! Grades 5-8 will be using their Google Suite.
