8th Grade Recognition Information
Please click here to read some important information regarding 8th grade recognition. Our ceremony is tentatively scheduled for May 25th at 6:30pm on the BHS football field.
PTO Update for 8th Graders
8th grade families,
We are excited to share with you a few of the end of year celebration items and events.
**Yard signs-Please visit the school store in Infinite Campus to purchase a yard sign for your home. Yard signs are $10 and will be available for pickup the first week of May, we will send an email when we have definite dates and times.
**T-Shirts- you may also purchase your son or daughter an 8th grade t-shirt in the school store.
**8th grade picnic-We are excited to share we are able to host a picnic for the students currently scheduled for May 18 from lunch hour through 7th period (12:50-2:15). All 8th graders are welcome and encouraged to join regardless of your current learning environment. Please note remote learners will be required to provide their own transportation. The event is free to all 8th graders. We will ask the students to RSVP during class so we can accurately coordinate the day.

Upcoming School Testing
Additionally, 8th grade students will also take the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). Please click here if you have an 8th grade student.
NJHS Mask Drive
Starting Monday, April 12th - Friday, April 30th, the NJHS is holding a mask drive to donate to students in Senegal, Africa. These kids don’t have masks and we are asking for all students to consider donating new masks (store bought or homemade) to our drive.
We will have boxes in the front hall when you come into school for you to drop off the masks.

May 28: Last Day of School (if no make-up day used)
STATION WRESTLING
STATION WRESTLING is starting soon.
Please use the following link to register for Station's Wrestling Team, which is open to all students in 6th through 8th grade.
All participants must have a current physical on file to participate in wrestling. Physicals are valid for 13 months.
Practices will begin the week of April 5th and will include a mix of after-school, evening, and Saturday practices.
Additional details, including a practice and meet schedule, will be emailed to all those who register for wrestling.

GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS
GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS - Register now.
Open to all 7th and 8th grade girls.
All girls must register to tryout, use the following link.
All girls must have a current physical on file to participate in tryouts.
Check with the Nurse or Ms. Amato to verify that your physical is not EXPIRED.
TRYOUT DATES: APRIL 19 & APRIL 23 - after school -5:00pm, Activity Bus available.
