EC students should wear their Halloween costumes to school.
Room parents may enter the classrooms to set up for the party and assist students with their costumes at 9:45 a.m. Parties will conclude at 10:45 a.m.
Students in PM early childhood, full day kindergarten and Grades 1-2 will enjoy an outdoor parade (weather permitting) from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.
Room parents may enter the classrooms to set up for the party and assist students with their costumes at 12:45 p.m. Parties will conclude at 2:00 p.m.
Families are welcome to attend the outdoor parade, weather permitting, which will take place along the playground sidewalks.
In Preparation for the Parties
To ensure a smooth celebration, we ask for your help in the following areas:
Students in PM early childhood, full day kindergarten and Grades 1-2 should bring their costumes to school in a bag labeled with their names.
Any item that could serve as a weapon must be left at home.
Wheeled shoes, rollerblades, skateboards, etc. may not be brought to school.
Teachers and room parents will assist with costumes and students' makeup.
Please consult the parking map, which shows where it is legally safe to park near Sprague.
In an effort to be inclusive for all of our students, we are excited to offer an alternate room for celebration for families/students who do not wish to participate in the Halloween themed activities on Friday, October 29. This Alternate Party will take place at the same time as the Halloween parade and parties. Please complete this Alternate Sprague Party FDK-2 form to indicate your interest in having your child participate. Parents are also welcome to take their children home at the time the parties are scheduled.
