- If you could read/learn about anything in the world, what would it be? What do you wonder about? How can you turn that into your PASSION PROJECT?

Science
Students have finished up measuring with meter sticks (meters, centimeters, millimeters). We have moved on to mass and weight. Students have been using triple beam balances and weighing various objects in grams at the end of this week. We will be moving on to volume next week.
AdvMath 6th Grade (Block A)
Students will be tested over Chapter 7 (solving 1 and 2 step equations) on Wednesday of next week. Look for a StudyGuide in-class on Monday, we'll review on Tuesday, and then test on Wed, March 23rd.
We are near the end of our Read Aloud in-class from the book Lawn Boy. We will be doing a stock market graphing project related to the theme of this book in which students will invest $10,000 in a stock of their choice later this school year (April).
VMath: 100 minutes is due Sunday @ midnight.
Regular Math (BLOCK B)
Students will be tested over Chapter 11 (multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers) on Tuesday, March 22nd. By then, students will have done 2 studyguides along with lots of practice in-class each day. This is always one of the lower test scores of the year due to the complexity/steps of each problem. Students will be allowed to use their studyguides on the test to assist them if needed. There are also some files posted on Bb.
