Shakespeare's plays fell into three themes; History, Tragedy and Comedy. He had written 10 history pieces, 10 tragedy pieces and 17 comedy pieces. The most famous plays in each theme would be; the King Henry IV plays, Romeo and Juliet and Midsummer's Night Dream.
The Globe Theatre
Located in London, The Globe Theatre was established with the help of Shakespeare.
In 1613 the original theatre burned to the ground. How? A play of Shakespeare's Henry VIII was being performed, a cannon was shot and that plainly ignited the roof. Ironic right?
