Each year, the Meadows Parent Organization holds a cash drive to help raise money to be used toward student enrichment, assemblies, author visits, family nights, community outreach, teacher support, and staff appreciation. Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) is an application of a behaviorally-based systems approach to enhance the capacity of schools, families, and communities to design effective environments that improve the link between research-validated practices and the environments in which teaching and learning occurs.

Meadows has an active committee implementing the PBIS program, and your support is essential. Together we can help our students know and uphold these expectations.

Our Meadows PBIS parent letter can be found below, along with the PRIDE Behavior Matrix, which we ask be reviewed with your child.

Lastly, we have created an October PRIDE Board, which offers suggestions on how to practice Preparation.

Per USDA, school meals are currently FREE for all students until otherwise notified.

This means that all children will receive free breakfast and lunch while at school or learning from home. No additional paperwork is required to receive this benefit. This automatically applies to any child 18 and under or 26 and under for those with disabilities, including children who are not yet of school age.

Free breakfast and lunch will be distributed once a week on Thursday.

Virtual students are able to pick up 7 days of breakfast and lunch.

Hybrid students are able to pick up 5 days of breakfast and lunch.

10:00 am-12:00 noon and

5:00 pm-6:00 pm

This is a drive up service and you will remain in your car. Children do not need to be present.

• Students are required to wear a mask* while they are on the bus or in the school
• Students will be given short mask breaks when they are outside
• Hand sanitizer and wipes are available in each classroom
• Students will be reminded to wash hands frequently

• Students will travel with their class to Specials each day
• The Special they have will be every day for 7-9 weeks
• Specials include (Art, Physical Education, Robotics (6th only),Vocal Music, World Language)
• Teachers will marshal students to and from Specials to ensure proper behavior and social distancing in the hallways
• Students in band/strings will attend this class during their A30
• Students do not need instruments for the first week of school
