School Facilities Update

Thank you to everyone who supported the recent school bond proposal. On Monday, November 30th, the Taylor ISD Board of Trustees took the next step by voting to issue new RFQ (Request for Qualifications) for a project manager and architect.

As we move forward with plans to upgrade facilities across the district, we invite you to stay informed of progress with updates in this weekly newsletter as well as attending upcoming school board meetings. The next scheduled board meeting will be on January 11th at 7:00pm in the TISD board room.

End of Six Weeks Reminders

Grades - Parents are encouraged to check for missing assignments and current grade averages on the parent portal on the school website. Just go to the parent tab and click on Parent Self Serve.

Also, students and parents can now see grades through the new TEAMS mobile app for both Apple and Android. If you have a User ID and Password for the TEAMS Student Self Serve Application or Parent Self Serve Application, you can use this app to access TEAMS Student Mobile or TEAMS Parent Mobile.

Questions - Please contact your child's teacher with any questions about grades and assignments before the six weeks ends on December 18th. Contact information is on each campus website (see links below).

Angels Among Us Tree of Giving
Students at Taylor High School are giving back to fellow students with their Angels Among Us Christmas Tree. Anyone wanting to help is invited to select an ornament with a needed item written on the back. The donor then purchases the item and turns it in to the counseling center to be distributed to local students in need. Anyone wanting to participate is encouraged to contact the school office.
