THE FOUR WAY TEST
As a Rotarian, I recite the Four Way Test each week. The principles we recite are good and are worthy of being reminded.
Take #3 - Will it build goodwill and better friendships?.... what is goodwill??
According to the dictionary goodwill means "friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude".
Goodwill and friendships are very important as humans are wired for connection. I definitely see the value in cooperation and friendships - I have found navigating challenges are often easier and more successful with cooperation and collaboration. In addition, when forced to isolate many people realized the importance of family and friends.
Something to chew on during the time of Thanksgiving.....

BHS ROBOTICS TEAM IS STATE-BOUND
The BHS Robotics Team participated in the CoCo BEST robotics competition last Saturday and advanced to the State Tournament to be held in December in Frisco. This is the second time in three years the team has advanced! They will be competing against teams from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. The students have worked hard over the last several weeks and represented Bonham ISD with great competitiveness, teamwork and trust in each other. Of course, without the guidance and sponsorship of David Story and David Williamson, it would not have been possible.

CENTRAL OFFICE OCTOBER SERVICE PROJECT
Central Office staff members handed out candy last Saturday at the Halloween on the Square event in Bonham.
It was fun to see all the kids and families in costume enjoying the great weather.....and candy!!

Central Office staff decorated Halloween hats. They were judged on Thursday. Winners were Mike Barkley, Brandy Godbey, Traci Daniel, Stephanie Avery and Jenny Haggard.
