A holiday that is celebrated in Colombia that is not celebrated in Pennsylvania is a holiday called Epiphany. The meaning of Epiphany is the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles represented by the three wise men.
Why is it colder in the Andes than it is in central Colombia?
It is colder in the Andes because hot air does rise, also hot air is less dense than colder air, it will lose this extra heat quickly. Another reason why it is colder on top of mountains than on Earth's surface is because the main place air is heated is on the Earth's surface, where it is warmed by sunlight.
Where do Colombians find thier emeralds?
Colombia's emeralds are mostly found in Muzo, Coscuez, and Chivor. Muzo mines are located Northeast of Bogata.
What did Colombia's political parties do to prevent further unrest?
To prevent further unrest, the two main political parties agreed to
govern the country together.Efforts were made to improve the lives of
poor farmers by giving them more land. Factories and industrial jobs
opened up. Still, a wide gap between rich and poor remained, causing
further disturbances.
