Principal's Office

Hello, all! Here is our Roadrunner Weekly for the week of January 22nd through January 25th. This Friday, January 25th, will be our school Fun Run put on by Boosterthon. This will be our big PTC fundraiser of the year, and we hope to raise enough money to help fund a new intermediate playstructure to replace our old, broken down one (see image below). To purchase and install a new playstructure will cost us somewhere between $25,000-$30,000. Log on to for more information. Please help us meet our goal and provide safe, fun play equipment for our kids! More info is below.

The next date to highlight on your calendar is Tuesday, January 29th. That evening from 6:00-8:00 PM we will be hosting a parent information night titled: "Harmony at Home: Maintaining Healthy Boundaries & Managing Conflict". We all know raising kids can be very challenging, and we all need help once in a while. Join us for this very informative workshop for some tips, tricks, and important thoughts on raising healthy kids. Click here to register if you plan to attend, so we can have an accurate count of those attending. Coffee and desserts will be available as well.

That's it for now, folks. We encourage you to visit our teacher websites regularly to keep current on homework assignments, weekly projects, and events. Also, i-Ready is an important at home skill-building tool, so please encourage your child to continue using it for 45 minutes or more per subject, per week to stay sharp on their math and ELA skills. Have a great week!

Boosterthon First Street Fun Run!

Parents! This week we kicked off our First Street School Fun Run fundraiser powered by Boosterthon! It’s a two-week program that began with a Pep Rally this past Tuesday. We are asking families to gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) during our Fun Run on Friday, January 25th. Click here to see the "Boosterthon Weekend Challenge" video, and click on to go to our pledge page! Donations will go toward our new playstructure and to the entire two-week experience. So please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run (see schedule below)! Thank you for your support!

Yearbooks Are Going on Sale!

Our 2018-19 First St. Yearbooks go on sale tomorrow! If you pre-order between January 22nd and January 31st, your Yearbooks price will be $15.
