- Shout out to all of the teachers that spent hours making sure their students had all of their students with the appropriate accommodations and in the right locations for testing

-Shout out to Mr. Bottema for getting the most volunteers for the Big Dig!

-Shout out to Ms. Rath, Mr. Bottema and Ms. Fletcher who all submitted SEL grants

-Shout out to Carlos and all of this work for the Bog Dig. The tools were organized and we had all of the tools we needed!

- Shout out to Mr. Gutierrez and his work to organize and make sure the Big Dig was a success!

-Shout out to Mr. Jonson and his work at the Big Dig! He was there early, he greeted parents and worked the whole day to make the space great for kids!

-Shout out to Mr. Manzanera for making our thank you gifts and for his work in the garden!

-Shout out to Mr. McKay for his work with the art stations!

-Shout out to Mr. Fuentes for staining the entire outdoor classroom!

-Shout out to Ms. Leyva for having all of our compost materials. We were only the second school to ever do this! Also, thanks to Ms. Leyva for coming to water on Saturday!

-Shout out to Ms. McCue for organizing her 5th graders to read with other grade levels!

-Shout out to all of the TAs and support staff who created the best breakfast EVER!

-Shout out to the cafeteria staff and Ms. Cantu for being so flexible this week!

-Shout out to all of the teachers who stayed late and tutored this week to make the last push to STAAR!

-Shout out to the first grade team who provided a sweet treat to all of the teacher this week!

-Shout out to Emma and the her work with the Home Visit Project! Next year we have 31 staff signed up! We are set to beat this year!

-Shout out to Ruth for taking on the position of Home Visit Project Coordinator for next year! We appreciate you!

-Shout out to everyone who brought tools for the Big Dig!

- Thank you to Ms. Garcia (2nd grade), Mr. Garcia and Ms. Cervantes who have stepped up to help the upper grades! Much respect!

- Thank you to all of the classrooms that we stepped into this week. All classrooms were making the most of every moment. We are in the final push!

-A big thank you to Gwen for helping make sure that Teacher Appreciation week went off without a hitch!

-A big thank you to Ms. McCue and Ms. Beckett for stepping up to run Mission Possible Kids for next year!

-Thank you to Ms. Del Rio for her work in 5th grade. She has done an amazing job!

- A big thank you to Ms. Quevedo and Ms. Jones for getting the chickens ready to dance!

-Thank you to Ms. Lopez and Ms. Garcia for getting the cheerleaders ready for a great performance!

Dallas ISD Goals

Dallas ISD Goals

☐ Goal 1: All students will exhibit Satisfactory or above on performance on State assessments. Students below Satisfactory performance will demonstrate more than one year of academic growth.

☐ Goal 2: Dallas ISD schools will be the primary choice for families in the district.

☐ Goal 3: The achievement gap by race, ethnicity, and social economic status will be no greater than 10% on all academic measures.

☐ Goal 4: 95% of students will graduate. Of the graduates, 90% have the qualifying scores for community college, college, military, or industry certification.

☐ Goal 5: 95% of entering kindergarten students are school-ready on a multidimensional assessment.

☐ Goal 6: All students will participate in at least one extracurricular or co-curricular activity each year.
