Monday Morning Message (9/19/16)

Every Child - Everyday!

General Information

Hello Everyone!

Wow, we are entering the 5th week of school! Let us take time to reflect on what routines and procedures are solidly in place. This has been the best start to a school year that I have ever been a part of. Everything has not been perfect, but it sure has been great! Everyone is on fire and instruction has been AWESOME!! Continue to ask yourself essentials questions each day. Examples are: What should classroom instruction look like in my classroom? Is instruction at the right level of rigor? What kind of questions am I asking to move students to transfer learning to new situations? Am I satisfied with what I see happening in my classroom? Where am I on the scale of creating a culture of excellence in my classroom– Developing, Proficient, Accomplished or Distinguished? Where do I want to be next month, 2 months, 4 months, and at the end of the year? If we truly create a culture of excellence on our campus we will see ourselves grow as educators and our students will be able to show both academic growth and achievement.

See you around the campus!
