There are many upcoming events at Stony Creek this spring, so this is a special newsletter edition!


IF you plan to come to ANY events during the school DAY, you must have an up-to-date background check on file. These are taking approximately 2 weeks to be completed, so please submit yours now by using the link below:

The Mustang Family Circle school carnival is after school on Friday, May 20 from 5:30-7:30. Adult volunteers are needed to help supervise the bounce houses, run games, and to take games down at 7:30. Sign up using the link below:

Library News

Wednesday, May 18th & Thursday, May 19th


Do you have gently-used student-appropriate fiction/nonfiction books taking up space on your bookshelves?

Want to donate them?

We would like them for our used book sale that will happen

on May 18th & 19th. All books will be sold for $0.50 each.


It will be a win-win-win situation for all.

You get to clean out your bookshelves, students get to purchase books at a cheap price and new items will be added to the library.


We are collecting now until May 13th. You can drop them off in the front office or send them with your student(s).


Friday, May 20th - All SC library books need to be returned.


Monday, May 23rd - Friday, May 27th - Looking for something to do this week? We would love to have a few volunteers (1-2 hours) help us with our inventory. If interested, please email Mrs. McGovern @ sherrie_mcgovern@nobl.k12.in.us. A Level 3 background check is required to volunteer.

Student Fundraiser

Ella and Kylie, two 5th-grade students studied about shelters for their Genius Hour presentation. Due to all they learned, they wanted to create a fundraiser for the Humane Society for Hamilton County. They will be collecting new and used items starting Friday, May 20th at the Stony Creek Carnival until Friday, May 27th. Feel free to drop off or send items with your student to the Stony Creek library during the week of May 23rd. Please see the attached flyer. 2022 Marching Millers Competition Show

Your Student’s Voice Could Be in the Marching Millers Competition Show!

The NHS Marching Millers invite students in grades K-8 to enter for a chance to win their Million Dreams contest. Your student’s voice, describing the world they dream of, could be highlighted in the band’s competition show for the upcoming school year! Three winners will be chosen.
