Monday Morning Memo

St. Mary of the Assumption School

October 21, 2019

Note from the Principal

Good morning parents!

Welcome to a very exciting week here at St. Mary's. The Pre-K through 2nd grade will be going to the Pumpkin Patch today on our first field trip of the year.

This week is Socktober! Students may wear any socks they'd like Monday-Thursday of this week if they donate 3 pairs of sock or $5. Thank you to the NJHS for organizing this event.

This is also the week of the World Series for our Washington Nationals! Tomorrow, October 22nd, students may accessorize in red, white, and blue to show support for our home team. This includes jewelry, socks, jerseys, etc. worn over the uniform.

I will be out this Wednesday-Friday for the Elementary School Principal Association Retreat, but I am leaving the school in the very capable hands of our assistant principal, Mrs. Ruckstuhl.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Mrs. Lewis
