Everside Health updated the Board on the facility that will open soon in Centreville. Everside will deliver comprehensive, primary care, directly to QACPS employees and their dependents. Stay tuned for the grand opening!
The Board was updated on the new QACPS Central Office Building Site.

The last day of school for students is June 8th. The 2022-23 school year did not include any built in snow days; it did however offer 3 days as weather contingency days should we have had to close for snow (MLK Day, President's Day, June 9th PD Day).

BOARD ACTION ITEMS
The Board approved the purchase of the Frog Street Curriculum which will be the primary integrated curriculum for Prekindergarten. Fiscal Impact: $56,459.88. Budget Source: Local Funds.
The Board approved the purchase of the Into Reading program for grades K-5. Fiscal Impact: $664,262.55. Budget Source: FY 23 Local for Grades 4&5 - $341,595.55; Maryland Leads/Science of Reading for Grades K-3 - $322,667.00.
The Board approved the new Outdoor Adventure course beginning on the 2023-2024 school year. Fiscal Impact: As Needed. Budget Source: FY23 Year End Unrestricted Funds.
The Board approved the contract with Douron for new outdoor education tables. Fiscal Impact: $47,410.00. Budget Source: Governors Emergency Educational Relief (GEER II) Funds.
The Board approved the contract with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) Publishing Company to purchase a one year license for the HMH Science Dimension for grades K-5. Fiscal Impact: $80,856.00. Budget Source: Unrestricted Operating Budget.
The Board approved Budget Amendment #5 for the FY 23 Unrestricted Fund.
The Board approved the contract with Modular Genius to purchase and install three (3) new portable classrooms at Kent Island High School. Fiscal Impact: $362,458.00. Budget Source: FY 23 Fund Balance.
The Board approved the contract with Vigil Contracting to construct a secure vestibule at Kennard Elementary School. Fiscal Impact: $154,354.00. Budget Source: SSGP Grant Funding FY 22.
