Fourth Grade Forecast

Skate Time

Last week, our students began to learn how to rollerskate with Coach Gay! This is an exciting activity for our students and they always look forward to it! Please be sure you have returned your child's permission form so they can participate! Permission forms were sent home before Winter Break. If we have not received your child's permission form, we will send a new one home!

Upcoming Field Trips

- April 26th & 27th - 4-H Camp Overnight (approved parent volunteers needed to stay overnight)

- Late May (Date TBA) - Trip to the Capitol in Frankfort

***For Parents/Guardians to attend field trips they MUST be on the approved volunteer list for Fayette County Public Schools. This process takes a few weeks to become finalized. If you are interested in attending any future field trips please use the link below to apply.***

Dojo Positives & Reteaches

Students will continue to can earn 'positive Dojo points' and 'needs work Dojo points' for the following:

Safe
Responsible
Respectful

Every two weeks students can earn a "Fun Friday - Celebrating You" reward based on their positive/needs work percentages. Last Friday, students earned extra recess for "Fun Friday." Please note that our team communicates to students that mistakes will happen, students will be retaught and we move forward. We value learning from our mistakes to help us grow. Our team will communicate to you if a behavior is being repeated or reinforcements beyond a reteach are taking place. If you have any questions please let your homeroom teacher know.
