Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! We are looking forward to celebrating at our Hispanic Heritage Car Parade on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:30-8:00pm. Save the date!
Can you believe we are already about to begin the fourth week of school? We will be looking for parent volunteers to come into the building the first week of October to assist in classrooms, the cafeteria, the office, on the playground and even to do small tasks at home. There are some items you need to do to be able to volunteer in the school. Please view what you need to do here so that you are ready to volunteer at WLES!
Our focus as a school community is on being respectful, responsible and safe. Please talk to your child(ren) about the importance of showing respect in the cafeteria and the playground. This means listening to the teachers in charge, playing fair and with kindness at recess and cleaning up behind themselves at lunch. Many students already do all of this, but reminders are good for everyone. Thank you.
Have a great evening,
Principal Hammond and Assistant Principal Nelson
