Monthly Classroom News Update

Mrs. Irwin’s Kindergarten

This Month's Focus

Our goal this month is to make sure your child will be able to count to one hundred. We will begin by working together as a group and learning our multiples of ten. Each student will also have time to work with each other and finally I will be working with each child individually in order to make sure that they are able to reach this goal.

It is important at this point in your child’s development that they master the ability to write all 26 letters of the alphabet. Once each student is progressed in this area we will begin practicing writing their own names and a few short words.

This month we are going to be reading the wonderfully fun, Charlotte’s Web. Each student will follow along as I read aloud during our reading sessions.
