PTA Membership Drive
The Caraway PTA's Membership committee membership drive is underway. The drive will end on Monday 11/7 and the class with the most amount of PTA members per grade level will receive an ICE CREAM PARTY. Here's the cool thing. This isn't just a normal ice cream party. We have partnered with THE SCIENCE CREAM to come out and share with our students a super cool science experiment where they will freeze ice cream using LIQUID NITROGEN!
Don't forget, anyone can join! Spouses, Grandparents and businesses are all welcome, too!
Also, if you qualify for Free Breakfast and Lunch, a membership will be made available to you. For information for a free membership, contact Melissa Ross, 2nd VP or the school counselor.
The following classes are in the lead.
Kindergarten: Ms. Harvey class
First Grade: Ms. Zimny class
Second Grade: Ms. Gonzalez class
Third Grade: Ms. Hillhouse class
Fourth Grade: Ms. Bourque class
Fifth Grade: Ms. Seidlits class

Introducing Wise Guys
Wise Guys is the Caraway PTA’s program to promote male VOLUNTEERISM during the school day. A student’s education is enriched when they are exposed to a diversity of perspectives and individuals. This is why we’re asking for dads, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, any of the male figures in our little Owl's lives to sign up for either two half days or a full day sometime this year. Their participation will help us meet our goal to increase male involvement on campus each school day.
The Wise Guys team have lined up a range of tasks: reading one-on-one with the younger grades; helping classes navigate the library; strategizing solutions to math problems; modeling good sportsmanship during recess, and many other activities.
There are only four steps to participate.
