Job Description
You help create goals for clients. You show clients how to perform exercises and use gym equipment Also,work out with clients, offering motivation and encouragement.
Working Conditions
They work mostly in gyms and fitness clubs. Mainly indoors, but outdoors for some clients. They usually work 6-7 hours a day 5 days a week.
Earnings
You can earn $10-$40 or more at fitness clubs. $20,000 to $100,000 a year or more for freelance trainers. Earnings depend on hours worked, location, education, and experience.
Education
There are no strict educational requirements for personal trainers. However, many employers prefer to hire trainers with a degree in exercise science, physical education, or a related fitness field.
You need to have a high school education, 2 year college/ technical training, and 4 year college/university.
Personal certification is recommended.
