Beginners with Instruments TOMORROW!
All this week we will be learning how to put our instrument together, take care of it, carry it, and make sounds! Please know that we will not be allowing beginners to take home their instruments this week so we can ensure that they are ready to properly practice at home. We want them to be successful, not only to protect your investment, but also so they can start their musical journey with confidence.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to a band director.

WMU Band Day
The students had one week to learn three pop tunes: "Born This Way" and "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, and "Runaway Baby" by Bruno Mars. The ensemble's sound was full and powerful at over 1,000 students in attendance. Students got to spend the day as honorary members of the Bronco Marching Band. They attended a rehearsal, paraded to the stadium, and cheered in the stands with the College Band.
Two Shamrock Band alumni are members of the Bronco Marching Band and spent the day mentoring their former classmates: Jared Jaggi (Class of '18) and Gabbie Casey (Class of '17).
"Band Day" is an annual tradition for the Bronco Marching Band. This year, they had over 800 High School students in attendance making it the largest combined Band Day performance to date.
