Online Horticulture Judging Contest

This year's Horticulture Judging Contest will be available online from June 10th at 8:00 a.m. to June 20th at 8:00 a.m. This contest is composed of three parts:
  • General knowledge questions
  • Plant parts and seed identification
  • Judging portion
This contest is open to all youth, as well as adults who would like to participate. Study Materials can be found at the State Fairbook (resources at the bottom of the page) or at the Junior Horticulture Association! More details to come in the May newsletter. Judging Opportunities

If you are interested in Horse, Livestock, Meats, Skillathon, Poultry or Dog Judging please contact the Extension Office. Livestock, Meats, Skillathon, and Poultry juding teams will have the opportunity to judge at the PASE competition in Lincoln, June 20-21. If you would like more information about any of these judging teams, please contact the Office.

UNL Admission Application

For the 2017-2018 academic year, the University will start accepting applications for admission on August 1, 2016. This is a month earlier than previous years because they would like to encourage more early applications and enrollment to their new True Red program.
