NEWS FROM OUR SCHOOL COUNSELOR MRS. CALDWELL
Life is busy! With so much going on, it can be difficult to sit down as a family for a meal. Research shows that children who regularly eat meals with their families tend to do better in school and avoid risky behaviors. If you work in the evenings, try breakfast together. On weekends, get creative with how mealtime is spent. Make sharing a meal together a priority, even if everyone goes their separate ways after.
Davis School District is partnering with Davis Behavioral Health to provide free mental health screenings for pre-school and elementary aged children on November 2. You and your child will meet with a mental health professional at Davis Behavioral Health in Layton. Click here for more info and to register: https://www.dbhutah.org/screening/
You must be registered in advance; it is not an open house event.
