- S- teacher-training programs/teacher certification requirements
- N- they establish standards and system for certifying educators as well as setting higher standards for entry into the profession of teaching
Professional Development
- development of learning new theories to be able to teach students
- discuss with other faculty members different teaching and learning strategies
Advantages & Disadvantages of Technology in the Classroom
- A- students use it on a daily basis and find that they learn best using technological tools
- D- many students use technology as a way of not doing their work or just going the easy route by copying information
- A- teaches and prepares student for the workforce as they will have to use technology daily
- D- students cannot perform basic skills in math or writing because of the constant use of technology to perform these skills
