Need to Know Info...

Construction Update: It is starting to get exciting around school! Over break, work began on the west side of the building. The west parking lot will no longer be accessible throughout the duration of the project. When visiting, please plan to park in a visitor spot out front or in the east lot. BASE will communicate with families who use after school care about how to access their pick up area. Any traffic behind the building should be mindful of children who access our playground after hours. A construction fence has also been installed along the south end of the playground, as work begins on our new driveway south of the building.

ILEARN Testing: Students in grades 3-8 will test for ILEARN beginning 4/18. We will limit testing to 1 hour per day, so you should expect testing could run through the end of the month. We strive to keep our daily routines as normal as possible during this testing window. Some classes will start testing promptly at 8am, so please make every effort to get your child to school on time and avoid making appointments during that 2-week period.

PreK/Kindergarten Round Up: We continue to Round Up our incoming preschool and kinderegarten students throughout the spring. If you know of someone who has a 4 or 5 year old coming to school next year, please refer them to our school website for more information about how to enroll. Staffing decisions are made based on our enrollment, so it is always helpful to know as early as possible who is joining our TES family. Please spread the word!

End of Year Activities: We only have 8 weeks to go, until they are all yours for the summer! That doesn't seem possible. Please mark your calendars for these end-of-year activities.
