Message from Mr. Ulbrich
I will conduct a Google Hangout at 9:00am on Monday. I really don't have any new answers, but I will certainly take any and all questions.
As we start our second week of online instruction, I want to address a few important reminders:
- Less is more. Make sure the work you assign is meaningful and something you can provide feedback on to the students and parents
- Take care of your needs and the needs of your family! The time factor can add up quickly if you don't set parameters for your work.
- Use online platforms (Google Hangout/Zoom) to provide individualized instruction/support to students
- Communication is still the key. This week will be important for getting students back involved in the learning process
- Work with the admin to help support student and parent followup
- Please know how much I appreciate all each of you have done to provide continued instruction to our students. You are all ROCKSTARS in my book!

Structured Professional Time (TBT and PPT) is a district initiative that provides job embedded professional development to all teaching staff. Professional development is aligned to district and building goals and can take place before school or within the school day. District Level PD sessions have also been built into the master calendar. These days will focus on curriculum, testing and/or instructional issues.
“Flexible Teaming” days have been built into the calendar. These days can be used for, but not limited to the following: Planning w/other colleagues, Plan for your courses not captured in TBT, Co-teacher planning time, Parent meetings and/or contact, Student help, E&I Planning, 504/IEP meetings and EWIMS meetings.
