A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Officer West visited ECDC this week to teach the children about his job as a policeman and the many ways officers help our community. We are so grateful to Mr. West for visiting the ECDC each year.
Congratulations to Ronda Dee for being chosen as the Marquette teacher being honored by this year's St. Francis of Assisi Tuition Assistance Trust! Mrs. Dee has been a loving member of the ECDC faculty for twelve years and we are so proud of her!
If a family member or friend will be picking up your child from school who does not usually pick up, please advise them to bring their ID so we can release your child. It takes us a little while to get to know all the grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and babysitters. With masks, identification is even more challenging! Letting the office know when someone other than a parent will be picking up is always helpful and appreciated.
If your child received immunizations since enrollment time in February, please send an updated copy to sarah.bergner@marquetteschool.org.
Next Thursday and Friday are parent/teacher conferences. Teachers are looking forward to visiting with you individually. Don't forget to sign up for a conference online using this link:
https://pickatime.com/marquetteschool/client?event=352291.
Thursday, September 24th, we dismiss early (2:15pm) but still have aftercare for those registered. There is NO SCHOOL Friday, September 25th. Due to COVID restrictions, there is no childcare offered during conferences.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Information about An Evening with Bishop Konderla and RISE Trivia Night is below.
The Southwest Dairy Farmers will visit the ECDC on October 9th with their mobile dairy classroom! We will listen to a presentation on the dairy industry and see the traveling milk parlor with a live cow!
Our teachers are planning some fun activities to celebrate Halloween on October 29th and 30th. Since we cannot take a field trip to the pumpkin patch, the pumpkins are coming to us! We will fill our playground with pumpkins, games, and hay bales. Look for more information from teachers to come home soon.
We are placing an order for adult ECDC apparel. If you would like to purchase shirts/sweatshirts with the ECDC logo, please complete the order form below and return to school by September 30th.
