Snowflakes of Support
This year things will look a little different, but we hope the support and generosity from our amazing community stays the same! This year we are asking that donations come in the form of gift cards in the amount of $25 to either Fred Meyer or Target. Please feel free to buy as many cards as you feel compelled to contribute, which we will then distribute to our families in the spirit of love, kindness, and giving. We ask that the cards be delivered to the front office by tomorrow, Friday, December 11th. Thank you so much for your generosity. For questions, please email Julia Carr, BCPS School Counselor: carrj@wlwv.k12.or.us

Remember to report absences
Even while students learn at home remotely either in Comprehensive Distance Learning or through the K12 Online Program, regular and authentic engagement remains important. We know that regular engagement can be challenging in a remote learning environment. That being said, we care very much that students continue to regularly participate in their classes in whatever schedule or routine your student and family have created this year.
If your student is going to miss a class or activity, it is important to inform the school office ahead of time when possible. Parents can do this by using ParentVUE, by calling the school office at (503) 673-7750 or by emailing laschobs@wlwv.k12.or.us. Students in the K12 Online Program should also use ParentVUE or alert their teacher and program director if there are going to be any changes in a student’s engagement.
Looking for Resources to Boost Internet?
Internet Hotspots can boost internet bandwidth for families engaged in online learning. This can be particularly helpful for families with multiple students participating in the Online Program or Comprehensive Distance Learning simultaneously. Please visit the district website’s IT webpage for more information about resources available across West Linn and Wilsonville. We will continue to update the webpage as resources become available for use or purchase.
Community Resource Support
The District Office maintains a resource guide for food, housing, bill pay assistance and other financial supports. Please follow this link to access that information:
Happy Holidays Boeckman Creek Families!
We send a big THANK YOU, to all of you that have supported Boeckman Creek PTA this last year. Whether it is by becoming a PTA member, participating in the Fun Run or buying through Charleston Wrap, Fred Meyers, Box Tops or Amazon Smiles. With every cent, we aim to continue to come up with fun and creative ways of bringing a little joy to this difficult and stressful school year. We are happy that the kids have enjoyed the Art and STEM kits. New ones will be coming out next year.
We’d like to express our gratitude to Jessy Lee for organizing our Virtual Fun Run this year. Without the possibility to hold our traditional Fun Run on the WHS Track, she was able to organize this event on the fly.
If your child has not picked up their Free Fun Run t-shirt, please stop by the school office.
- (CDL and FuelEd)
To show our staff and teachers our appreciation, instead of cookie donations, we are asking you to please write a few cards of thanks and holiday greetings to our lovely staff. If you are in need of a staff list please send us an email.
- A card collection box will be in the office lobby until this Friday, December 11th.
A small snack box and these cards will be passed out next week to each of our Boeckman Creek Staff including the FuelEd teachers. If you would like to donate towards the snack boxes, please visit our website for details. www.BoeckmanPTA.org
We wish you all a peaceful winter break and hope to see you at our next PTA zoom meeting on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 6 pm. Details will be posted on Facebook.
