Grand Blanc High School Parents-
Hard to believe, but we are already heading into the month of October. I hope everyone found time to enjoy the homecoming week festivities. It has been two years since Grand Blanc hosted Interclass Games, a Homecoming Parade and Homecoming Dance. While we had to make adjustments to host these events completely outdoors, it was great to return to some of our traditions. Thank you to everyone who participated in a great week for Grand Blanc High School.
Our students and staff have settled into full in-person school days and everyone seems to be establishing routines for teaching and learning. While the first month certainly brought a few challenges our way, I am incredibly proud of the work taking place every day in our classrooms. Looking ahead, we will host Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 13 (5:00-8:00pm) and October 14 (12:00 – 3:00pm). Based on the feedback from last year, we will continue to offer these in a virtual format with parents signing up for scheduled 5-minute appointments. Sign-up information will be sent to all parents by Friday, October 8.
As always, thank you for your support and Go Bobcats!

NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM – SEAMLESS SUMMER OPTION LETTER TO HOUSEHOLDS
Dear Parent or Guardian:
We are pleased to inform you that Grand Blanc Community School District will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the School Year 2021-2022.
The GREAT NEWS is that ALL students enrolled at our school can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE to your household each day.
We still need your household to fill out and sign the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. This information is critical in determining the amount of money that our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs like Title I A, At-risk (31a), Title II A, E-Rate, etc.
These supplemental programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:
- Instructional supports (staff, supplies & materials, etc.)
- Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
- Professional Learning for staff
- Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
- Technology
- Pandemic-EBT
We are asking that you please complete and submit it as soon as possible to ensure that additional funding for our school is available to meet the needs of our students. All information on the application submitted is confidential. Without your assistance in completing and returning the attached application, our school cannot maximize the use of available State and Federal funds.
If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at Grand Blanc Dining Service
