Week of March 27th & April 3rd, 2017
This week's events
Well, we've completed our first meet and the season has officially started! It was a great start to the season. We have just a few things to note for this week:
- Monday 3/27: Practice 3:10-4:30
- Tuesday 3/28: Meet at Durand High School. Events start at 4:15 pm.
- Wednesday 3/29: Practice 3:10-4:30
- Thursday 3/30: Practice 3:10-4:30 ** TEAM PICTURES** Make sure to bring your uniform to practice. Order form is in the attached photo.
- Friday 3/31: Practice 3:10-4:30
Spring Break Practice: April 3rd - 7th
Practice will be Monday - Friday, however the time is TBD. Please dress for the weather!
Since school is not in session and is on break, we will not be requiring attendance. However, if you are going to be in town, we highly encourage the athletes to attend practice and we will award points TOWARDS their varsity letter to those who do attend. If you are going out of town for the break, please see your coach for a recommended workout. Things to remember
- You are a STUDENT-athlete. Please stay on top of your grades. Graduation is always the ultimate goal.
- Don't forget to bring your warm clothes to practice. Throw an extra set of sweats in your locker. The weather this time of year is very unpredictable.
- Hydrate. Even though it might be cool out, you are still sweating and need to stay hydrated. Drinking water is best!
- Even though we are super busy, do not forget to sleep! If you are not well rested, you will not perform at your optimum.
