What is going on?
Writing: We will continue writing our nonfiction (all about) books this week. Our books will help teach the community about the local Round Rock landmarks of which we have learned.
Spelling Words: always, color, fly, hot, love, near, second, together
PBL:
Students will work with their PBL partner to create a presentation to educate the Round Rock community about the history of their group’s landmark. All work will be completed in the classrooms.
Math: This week, students will be working on an individual project in order to wrap up and apply the skills taught in our previous math units.
Social Studies: Students will explain the significance of various national celebrations such as Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, and Thanksgiving.

Field Day T-shirt Orders -
Field Day will be Friday, November 18th!
Starting this Friday, October 21st we will be accepting orders for our 2016 Field Day T-shirt! They will cost $10 each and can be ordered via the PE website. All orders and payments will be due October 28th.
Sommer Stallions, is your Reflections entry ready? All grades and all abilities welcome to participate in the fine arts. Reflect on this year's theme - “What Is Your Story?” And submit an entry that relates to the theme. Students can submit entries in six categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Musical Composition, Film production, Dance Choreography and Photography. Student entry forms and guidelines can be found here. All entries can be dropped in the Reflections red box in the hallway (across the stairs) starting Oct 19th. The last date for submissions is Oct 28, 2016.
IMP: Household member or Student entering must be a PTA member to participate.
