Spring Has Sprung

Weekday at Northpoint

Last week at Weekday...

Warmer weather is here at last! What a relief that spring has arrived. We could all use a little outside playground time. This week at Weekday we learned a new nursery rhyme that correlates to April's notoriously unpredictable weather.

Rain, rain go away

Come again another day

Little children want to play

Rain, rain go away.

Our letter this week was U. Next week we will introduce V and Vincent Vampire Bat. We've nearly made it through the whole alphabet!

In the know....

First things first. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIET AND COHEN!! It has been such a blessing getting to know these two super stars. In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss:

“Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!”

Dates to Remember

Ms. Caity: An Introduction

As many of you know, there is a new teacher on the block at Weekday. I've had so much fun getting to know the personalities of your awesome kiddos! I wanted to take a brief paragraph in this week's news letter to introduce myself officially.

I love working with preschoolers. Their milestones are so tangible and there is always so much left to explore. I graduated from Florida State in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Family and Child Sciences. In college I was certain I wanted to work with high schoolers. That was before the little guys won my heart. I've only been with Weekday for a few short weeks but I've been working with 2's and 3's for the past year.
