CTE Wishes You Happy Holidays
Our last newsletter for 2021
1st Semester was a success!
Fall 2021 semester was successfully held in-person and it was great to see students and teachers face to face.
Some of the highlights from the first semester included; CTE 8th grade tours, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) leadership trainings, community service events and our Career Exploration Internship (CEI) program completion.

Mohave Community College Highlights Two Concurrent High School Welding Students
Music and Audio Production Class
Mr. Brindis’s Music and Audio classes are working on their final ProTools project. Next semester students will complete the course and sit for the ProTools exam. There will be 3 or 4 students testing for the 200 level, and 19 testing for the 100 level certification.
There will be approx. 35-40 students testing for the Adobe Premiere Pro certification. Hoping they ALL get certified!! Way to go Mr. Brindis!
Little Knights Preschool
Early Childhood Education students have earned their Child Development Associate (CDA)!! Congratulations to Mrs. Hendry and students; Emma, Hailey, Kylie and Alyssa.
Law & Public Safety
Law and Public Safety students practiced traffic safety stops as part of their end of semester final.
Early Childhood Education
The students said their first day was “embarrassing”, but they plan to prepare better for the rest of the project.
Software & App Design
Software and App Design students worked on creating a side view car game.
The Intermediate Software and App Design students have been working in GameMaker, creating a side-view car game. Shown is a screen shot of Nate's car game. He even put in a barricade of blocks! The picture is of him presenting his game to the class.
Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Clubs
FCCLA & Ed Rising
FCCLA and Ed Rising members participated in a community service event called Desert Winter Wonderland. The event was held December 8th, 2021. Students volunteered with the craft booth, Santa’s workshop, face painting, refreshments Santa’s store, and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
