Mrs. Coronado's Weekly Update
(December 11 - December 15, 2023)
Welcome to Week #16
What's Happening This Week...
Happy Monday!
Only 10 more days until winter break, but who is counting? 😁
Please note, I will not be available for in-person study hall this Thursday, 12/14 (see info below).
Parents and students, I cannot stress enough how important it is that you are dedicating the time to finishing your classes. Students must finish their classes to 100% by the end of the semester. If students do not finish their coursework to 100%, it may result in a failing grade.
*The last day for students to submit their PE Logs is by the end of the day on Monday, 12/18 at 3:30 pm. Any missing or incomplete logs will receive zero credit.
If your student is struggling with working at home, they are welcome and highly encouraged to come to the AEC and join me in my classroom (room #60) for in-person study hall time. They can work in a quiet environment and ask for help when they need it. Please see my hours below for this. I am also available everyday for one-on-one Zoom meetings, just message me to set up a date and time to meet.

In addition, students are required to turn their cameras on so that I can see them. They do not have to keep them on throughout the whole Zoom, but they should be turning them on when prompted.
Daily Attendance
Students are required to login and work on their coursework every school day. They will be marked absent if they are not logging in and actively working in ALL of their classes. Again, if students are ill, or cannot login to work for whatever reason, please remember to send me an email before 2:00 PM the day of their illness to notify me.
PE Logs
Students are required to complete PE Logs on a weekly basis. The logs are located in their Schoology course under their assignments. They must complete their logs with at least 5 days (a minimum of 40-45 minutes each day) of physical activity. Physical activity can be anything from walking, stretching, yoga, riding a bike, and/or playing a team sport. Logs must be signed by a parent/guardian in order to be considered complete (please see example).
AEC Wellness Center
The AEC is starting a support group for middle school students who are struggling with anxiety or having a hard time coping with the stress of school and life. Please check out the flyer for more information.
Technical Support
If your student is having any kind of technical issues with their iPads (not able to download apps, word, google drive, etc.), please contact our district's tech support. You can access their web page by clicking the NLM logo or by clicking here.
