Annual Turkey Trot
The annual Turkey Trot will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 10th.
The Turkey Trot is a 1 mile race outside. All 6th graders will participate during 4th hour. 7th and 8th graders can sign up in the main office to participate. The 7th graders will race during 5th hour and the 8th graders during 6th hour.
Classes may go outside to cheer on their classmates. Be sure to dress for the weather!
Awards will be given to the a Male and Female Winners from each grade level
1st place - Receives a turkey
2nd place - Receives a chicken
3rd place - Receives a cornish hen

Just a reminder to please keep your child home if they are exhibiting any of the following symptoms as laid out in our Return to Learn Plan.
Students exhibiting the following symptoms which are strong indicators of COVID-19 shall remain home or excluded from school for 10 days unless a negative COVID-19 test result or a doctor’s note stating the student may return to school is provided to school authorities.
● Fever (temp over 100.4) or feeling feverish/chills
● Sore throat
● Runny or stuffy nose (congestion)
● Muscle or body aches
● Fatigue (tiredness)
● Vomiting and diarrhea
● Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
● New loss of taste or smell

7th Graders will discuss the effects of sexual harassment
8th Graders will discuss environmental factors that contribute to bullying.
