4th Quarter VLA Books

3rd Grade students can now pick up their 4th quarter MATH BOOKS here at school between the hours of 9 A.M. & 2:30 P.M.


MSD Warren Students in 3rd Grade will begin taking the IREAD-3 state assessment, beginning Monday, March 8, 2021. Below are two videos, provided by the Indiana Department of Education, to help inform families about the assessment and what it means for our students.




Kindergarten Kick-Off

Incoming kindergarten students (age five before October 1) and their families are invited to attend Kindergarten Kick-off on Thursday, April 19, from 5:30 P.M. -7:00 P.M.., happening at all nine of our elementary school locations. Take a school tour, meet our kindergarten team, and get all of your questions answered about Kindergarten. Online Enrollment opens April 5.

eLearning and Student iPads

Student devices will be sent home on a nightly basis with all students, providing additional technology access at home. Please be sure the following steps are taken each evening as you prepare your student for the next school day:

- Students should remain signed in to their Apple account

- iPad & keyboard is cleaned on a daily basis

- iPad is fully charged

- iPad & keyboard are placed in book bag each evening

We appreciate your support and help in preparing your student for success. As always, please reach out to your teacher for additional questions.

Teacher Recruitment Fair

Do you know a teacher who might be a great fit for Warren Township schools? The Warren Township Teacher Recruitment Fair will be held virtually on Thursday, March 11, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Please share!

Health Update

Please remember to communicate with the school if your son or daughter is experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or has been tested for COVID-19. In both of these situations, we ask that you keep your child at home until the symptoms have gone away or you have received the results of the COVID test.

Tech Support

We are expanding our technology help desk hours at Moorhead Community Resource Center! Our new hours will be Monday-Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. K-4 VIRTUAL students with iPad issues should be brought here. Chromebooks can still be brought to any of the three Intermediate Middle Schools during school hours, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday,, or the Chromedesk at the High School during 1st and 2nd period, Monday - Friday. If you cannot access the above times and locations for some reason, you can also submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ here.

Moorhead technology help desk is located at door 11 at the rear of the building near the playground. Please drive through the gate on the west side of the building and, after parking, enter door 11 for assistance.

Moorhead Community Resource Center

The Moorhead Community Resource Center (MCRC) will remain open during the VIRTUAL window and is committed to providing Warren Township families and students with programs and services in a safe, non-judgmental environment where families feel welcome and supported.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Parents may refer their child for high ability consideration for the 2021-2022 school year. Complete this form to do so. The window is open through March 26th to collect the recommendations. A recommendation does not guarantee placement.

Title 1 Presentation

Title 1 is a federally funded program that provides support for students and groups of students who are at risk of not mastering Indiana Academic Standards. In Warren Township, all elementary schools and middle schools are Title 1 served schools.
