Northwood News Feb. 6 - 10

Be Smart. Be Kind. Be United. Be a Unicorn.

Thank you for Choosing Northwood!

Dear Northwood Community,

Wow! What an interesting week last week was and how things can change overnight. It's hard to believe that we were home two days last week for inclement weather and now it feels like spring! Our district has announced that the make up days for those weather days will be on Feb. 20 and May 30, so please mark your calendars accordingly for these days to be school days.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7 at 6:00 is our monthly general PTA meeting. We will be recognizing our students who participated in the Reflections contest and our 3rd grade students will be doing a PE showcase. We hope to see you there to support our students and learn about everything that is happening at Northwood.

This week we celebrate National School Counselor's Week! Please join me in recognizing and thanking Mrs. Adams for the wonderful way she supports all of us, students, staff and parents alike. She works tirelessly to make sure all of our needs are met and that we feel, safe, secure and learn how to all work together. Mrs. Adams is the best!

Please be sure to read all the way to the end of the newsletter to find out about everything that is going on at Northwood and for important reminders.

Have a great week and thank you for your support!

Mrs. Harper
