MINDFUL MONDAYS: D'Veal Family and Youth Services is offering a Mindful Mondays "Me Time" moment. We recognize and are feeling the emotional weight of this quarantine and want to offer a space for each of us to connect with ourselves and each other. Each Monday we will offer a 15-minute zoom session to support you as you navigate these uncertain, and often emotionally charged, times. Our hope is that these sessions will provide you a moment of peace and calmness as you gear up for your work week. PUSD Mental Health: Free Suicide Prevention Webinars for Parents in English and Hmong : Please register for one of our upcoming free webinars and Facebook Live events: Suicide Prevention 101 for Parents: Recognizing Signs and What to Do. This free webinar will provide information about suicide prevention for parents, including warning signs for suicide, how to have a conversation with their child, actions to take if their child is having a suicidal thoughts, and resources. The webinar is provided in partnership with the California Department of Education, the Directing Change Program, and Teen Line. The webinar is offered in English and Hmong.
