Kids used ipads for research on holidays then created a prezi using their information and then presented them to the class.

Having some fun on the 100th day of school! Using the Age Me App, kids got to see what they would look like at 100 years old!

Students used the Spoken Photo App to tell about a book they read!
PROCESS BOARD
Students participated in their very own version of Shark Tank! They began by looking at everyday problems and solutions in their own lives. Next, they brainstormed some inventions that could help solve some of these everyday problems. Once they had some ideas, they used the Poll To Go App to gather some data about their product ideas. The students then built their invention. They used Pages to create pamphlets about their product and then pitched it to the Sharks! The video's of the students doing their pitch were turned into QR codes and hung on the board for everyone to see!
During trainings I tried to give the teachers information that they could use in the classroom immediately. I let them try out apps during trainings and tried to give examples of how to use these new apps and ideas to continue on our journey up the SAMR ladder. I also let them know that this was all new to me too, that we were all in this together!

- Student portfolios on the iPad. Is this possible without 1:1?
- Using the iPad more in math.
- Some more direction on 1:1- share success people are having. What does that look like?
- Showcasing work - How to get the work out there!
