Week of January 22nd
Red Oak ISD is committed to student and staff safety. During the week of January 22-26, 2024, all campuses will participate in Safety Week. A number of safety drills will take place across the district.
Red Oak ISD has an emergency operations plan and uses the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) K-12 guidance and resources to include a common language between the District and first responders. The five incident responses include evacuate, shelter, hold, secure, and lockdown.
During the winter months, please be sure that your student has a sweater or sweatshirt that does not have a hood if they want to keep it on in the classroom. Students are encouraged to wear heavy coats to school, which will go in their locker or cubby during the school day.
