January Recap

Congrats to all of you on a great January and welcome to my first "official" team newsletter! Send me a note and let me know what you think and if you find this useful. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any other information you'd like included in this newsletter each month.


Business to date: January is typically a slower month in retail, however, as a company we surpassed December numbers and nearly hit our November numbers. Way to go!! With the addition of #MakeupMondays in February and the FREE Lustro Body Oil in Rose Neroli for every purchase of $200+, as well as our beautiful Valentines' Gift Sets, we are looking forward to a stellar month. I can't wait to see what's in store for all of you. In the meantime, I've included some company and team information below to help you finish February on a high note!! The Charcoal Cleansing Bar is all the rage!!

This item is creating a lot of buzz with our clients and those just being introduced to Beautycounter. Please take this opportunity to post on your social media sites as well as reaching out to your client base and offering up a sample of this item. Jen Schultz offered some great tips on the Business Tips Facebook page this past weekend on how to sample and package samples of this item and also included a great info sheet that she created to add to each sample that offers all of the wonderful attributes of this product. Please take advantage of getting this out to your clients and new prospects. You will definitely get the return on it. Reach out if you have any questions about sampling this item.

Dash to Director

Wow, what a great incentive Beautycounter is offering to Consultants who are First Time Directors!! Who's going for it?? This is an awesome way to earn some extra cash, while building a business that will ensure long term, sustainable growth. I'm here to offer any assistance to get you there. Please reach out for ideas in meeting this goal. I'd love to see all of you get there.

New Beautycounter Compensation Plan

Did everyone see yesterday's video from Gregg & Gina regarding changes to the current Compensation Plan that will be effective starting April 1st, 2016? If you haven't had a chance to watch it and review the new materials BTC, please do so as soon as you can. I had a Zoom conference call with my upline mentor, Jen Schultz, last night, so I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the changes being made.


Overall, the changes being made make a lot of sense for the long term growth of the company and still keep us at the top in compensation compared to other direct retail companies. Plus, this is a great time to start building your Band of Beauty membership base with being paid 25% on member orders starting April 1st. Clients who are members have a reorder rate of 62% vs regular clients that order at a 12% rate, so there is a huge benefit to signing your clients up as members. With the change in shipping fees in January, this has been a great selling point with my current client base and many more are taking advantage of the Free shipping on orders over $100+ and also accumulating a $25 product credit for every $300 spent. It's a win-win for everyone. Be sure you are offering our Band of Beauty membership to everyone that places an order.

Let's Get Back to Basics!

Whether you've been doing this for almost a year or just a few months, Beautycounter has provided some great new training tools BTC for all of us to learn ways to get the most from our businesses. When I started a year and a half ago, none of this amazing training existed. I was so fortunate to have the help and support from my awesome upline mentor to help me get past the road blocks that I thought were standing in my way and really build a great business that I am so proud of. The beauty of this job is that it’s not only inspiring, but lucrative as well. Don’t we all deserve the best shot at making this what we want it to be for ourselves? And if we grow our team, we will help grow this movement in the direction it needs to go and we will have a real impact on the personal care industry.


I invite you to join us as we go step by step through the 3 training modules BTC. Whether you're a new consultant or a seasoned leader, this training will help you grow your business and become a better mentor and coach. As with anything, it's important to have a strong foundation in order to thrive.


So here's the plan. We will do one module per week. This will officially start Feb 3rd and the 1st week will run through Feb 12th. The 2nd week will run Feb 13th through Feb 19th and the 3rd week will run Feb 20th through Feb 26th. I'll send out an email to everyone at the end of each week and all you have to do is comment about your biggest take-a-way. Each week that your reply to me with your feedback, you'll be entered to win. If you post all 3 weeks you'll be entered to win our grand prize. The challenge to you is to carve out time to go through the training. In other words - focused, dedicated time working in front of your computer, watching the videos, filling out the worksheets, and taking the action steps.


Before you jump into Module 1 please click on the GETTING STARTED Tab BTC and fill out the QUICK START CONSULTANT ACTION PLAN. Please share it with your mentor. Your mentor is here to help you achieve all your goals both big and small. In order to do so they need to know what your hopes and aspirations are so they can coach you accordingly. So, who's in?!
