SPS RN Winter Newsletter

2022

Happy Merry Break!

What a fast start to the school year. We collectively hit the ground running and our life at school has felt very 2019, back to normal and seeing smiling faces throughout the buildings every day. The SPS RN Team appreciates the opportunity to support the physical and mental health of our school communities each day. We wish you a festive and restful break! Looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year.

With gratitude,

Danielle Gallan, MSN-PH, RN

Winter Clothing

There are a number of kids who never seem to notice the coldness of winter and continue to wear shorts throughout the year. While their high metabolism is something to marvel at, having weather appropriate clothing is important especially in the winter months.

All students would benefit from having a spare set of clothes in their bags or lockers for spills or accidents. Having a spare set of clothes handy (underwear, socks, shirt, and pants) is helpful when the need arises.

Spring Dental Days

We have dental hygienists coming to each school this spring to provide dental exams and cleanings to those who would like to participate. Forms will be sent home in the coming weeks, please reach out to your school nurse with any questions.
