Safety First: Harassment/Bullying Policy
To that end, we have created two avenues for students to report harassment or bullying. "No Bully Stands Alone" will be enforced, and students must report incidents of harassment and bullying to a teacher or an administrator. Students may report bullying via voice mailbox (256-718-8523) and email (bully@mhbs.org). Please see the Student Handbook for a complete explanation of the harassment and bullying policies.
10/15 Update from Mr. Rutherford: PLEASE KNOW THAT WE TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY THE TRUST YOU PLACE IN US TO HELP MOLD YOUR CHILDREN. EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO PROVIDE THE BEST CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT POSSIBLE AT MHBS. RAISING CHILDREN IN TODAY’S WORLD IS ARGUABLY MORE CHALLENGING THAN EVER.
Technology is such a wonderful tool. However, with it come more opportunities for satan to creep into our children’s lives… bullying, sexting, and even adult predators are becoming all to common. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Please monitor your child’s electronic devices closely. Contact the school immediately if we can help. If you do not wish to be identified, feel free to use the bullying hotline bullybully@mhbs.org or 256-718-8523.
