Next week is our first round of STAAR Testing for 2016-2017 school year. Remember the campus is closed on testing days to all visitors. Ways to help your student prepare for testing.
· Get plenty of sleep
· Eat a good breakfast. (McDonald is offering free breakfast to any 4th or 5th grade students testing.)
· Make sure they are at school on time, 7:55 am.
· Encourage your student to do their best

6th grade parents:
The nurse will be performing spinal screenings on Friday, March 24th. Please remind your student to bring shorts, and remind girls to wear a two- piece swimsuit top, halter top, or sports bra. If you do not want your child screened , you are required to fill out the Spinal Screen Exemption form and return it to the nurse. Please contact the school nurse for any questions regarding this required screening.

Parents, it’s sometimes easy for students to forget the importance of putting their best foot forward. Some helpful tips for students are:
Always write down tasks you need to accomplish
Challenges are a good thing. They make us stronger.
