Happy 2018!
We are looking forward to a GREAT start to 2018 and last 2 quarters of the school year.

ATTENTION all JUNIORS - Class of 2019
Ms. Wood met with students to give them their PSAT scores. All students should have already logged into their College Board account, start a Khan Academy account and link the two accounts. This will allow student scores to be shared with Khan Academy and individualized practice questions and tests will be developed for every student. Students who take the time to practice can increase their scores on average by 200 points. College Board is also enticing students to link their accounts by offering incentives and awards for completing practice tests. We are striving for %100 participation.
JUNIOR parent meeting on February 8th at 6:00 pm.

Students staying for Sporting Events
Students in grades 7-12 are allowed to stay after school is finished for the day for any games that start at 4:00. Games that start later than this will mean that your student needs to be picked up and brought back for the game time. Students who stay for 4:00 games are expected to be seated on the bleachers immediately following dismissal. No student should be found wandering around the building.
Students in grades K-6 will always need to be picked up and brought back for games, or wait in the gym with a parent for 4:00 games. Students may not be under the supervision of an older sibling - they must have a parent or other adult accompanying them.
Any students not following these guidelines will lose the privilege of attending after school games and events.

Volunteer Opportunities
CHAT
We have immediate openings for CHAT (Clerical Helpers Assisting Teachers) volunteers and are in need of a few team leaders. CHAT meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8am-10am to do things for our teachers, such as making copies, laminating, making booklets, cut-and-paste projects for crafts, etc. This is a fantastic way to directly help our teachers and students. Please contact Amber Brannon at Ambernbrannan@gmail.com or just show up on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
“Brandi’s List”
Please see here for current volunteer opportunities. We’re currently in need of help with VIC Card Linking Events and the upcoming GaGa Tournament.
